Install on macOS

  1. 01Download the .zip that matches your Mac (Apple Silicon for M-series, Intel for older Macs).
  2. 02Open the .zip — macOS will unpack a 'Traders Terminal.app'.
  3. 03Drag 'Traders Terminal.app' into your Applications folder.
  4. 04First launch: right-click the app → Open → Open (Gatekeeper warns about unsigned apps; this only happens once).
  5. 05Sign in with your Traders News account.

Install on Windows

  1. 01Download the Windows .zip and extract it anywhere (e.g. C:\Program Files\Traders Terminal).
  2. 02Open the extracted folder and run 'Traders Terminal.exe'.
  3. 03Windows SmartScreen may show 'Unknown publisher' — click 'More info' → 'Run anyway' the first time.
  4. 04Right-click 'Traders Terminal.exe' → 'Pin to taskbar' or 'Pin to Start' for quick access.
  5. 05Sign in with your Traders News account.

Install on Linux

  1. 01Download the .tar.gz, then extract: tar -xzf TradersTerminal-linux-x64.tar.gz
  2. 02cd 'Traders Terminal-linux-x64'
  3. 03Run: ./'Traders Terminal'
  4. 04Optional: create a .desktop entry pointing at the binary to launch from your app menu.
  5. 05Sign in with your Traders News account.

Code-signing notice

These builds are not yet signed by an Apple Developer ID or a Windows code-signing certificate, so you'll see a one-time warning from macOS Gatekeeper or Windows SmartScreen on first launch. The app itself is a thin wrapper that loads tradersnews.net — no Node APIs are exposed to the page. Signed installers and auto-update are on the roadmap.
